What our hosts & coordinators do
No two nights look exactly the same, but the heart of the role is making singles feel comfortable and helping them have a genuinely good time. Day to day, that can include:
- Hosting speed dating events and singles mixers
- Finding and building relationships with great Chicago venues
- Coordinating the event schedule and check-in
- Corresponding warmly with guests before and after events
- Helping market and promote events across Chicago and the suburbs
Who we’re looking for
Friendly, responsible, and confident in a crowd. Prior experience in events, hospitality, or promotion is a plus, but a great personality and reliability matter most. Evening and weekend availability is important, since that’s when our events happen. An interview with Chicago First Dates ownership and a background check are part of our process — we want every guest to feel safe and looked after.
